Mobile HRIS for GPS-verified attendance and paperless leave management
Tracks attendance with geofencing and anti-fake GPS, and routes leave requests through a real-time approval stream. Absenta, developed by Absenta, targets HR teams and employees who need mobile-first attendance, request, and document handling. Key capabilities include location-verified clock-in/out, a Global Work Calendar for schedules and holidays, and in-app access to payslips and HR records. The app suits small to large enterprises that require location-based attendance and on-device request workflows.
How the app enforces accurate clock-ins and prevents location fraud
Absenta uses geofencing-based attendance tracking with GPS verification and an anti-fake GPS mechanism to ensure attendance entries match authorized locations. The attendance system records clock-in and clock-out with location checks, which supports HR processes that depend on verified presence at specific sites. For field teams or multi-site offices, the location gate keeps time records tied to permitted coordinates rather than free-form manual entries.
What employees and HR can do in a single mobile workflow
The app lets employees submit leave, permit, and sick leave applications instantly and track approval status in real time. A Global Work Calendar integrates individual schedules, national holidays, and company events so requests and roster changes appear in one view. Digital payslips and HR documents live inside the same interface, so HR can reduce paper handling and employees can retrieve records from the device.
Onboarding, collaboration points, and device support for business teams
Available for Android devices, the app places core HR actions on employees' phones, which reduces handoffs between staff and HR. Templates or guided request flows are not listed explicitly, but the real-time approval tracking and automated notifications indicate an approval workflow suitable for teams. The developer issues regular updates aimed at performance, which helps maintain stability on standard business hardware.
